this is the first time i enter the rumor mill, never visited this one before... what happen is that i live i brasil and it has something growing around here...

we have here a huge festival called Rock in Rio... in January 2001, it'll be its 3rd version... (1st 1984 and 2nd 1992 i guess)

this festival is known to present the top rock artists (queen, scorpions, whitesnake, acdc, ozzy and many others have played on its earlier versions)

AOL will be the sponsor for this next event... they are saying that the names of the bands will be anounced in october... and van halen is one of the top picks.

as far as i remember AOL bought warner some months ago...

it's really something i wish and believe could happen.

Quite possible for VH to rock in Rio.
Thats right Time Warner did merge with AOL so there very well could be a connection.

there is no links leading to vh... there are rumors spreading around radio stations and from local tvs that are saying that vh is one of the artists that will possibly join the list of performers.

i'll see if i can find a link to an english version.

it's just a rumor that's around rock fans in brazil... nothing has been said from AOL/warner... nothing, just a rumor...
