View Full Version : Halford
to fans of judas priest: i highly recommend the latest rob halford cd called resurrection. it sounds like classic priest. the metal god is back! the album was produced by roy z. who worked with bruce dickinson on his last two solo albums. also there is an song with halford and dickinson called the one you love to hate. it rocks. dont be surprised to see an reunion of halford and priest in a year or two. 3

I will see Rob Halford tomorrow opening for Iron Maiden, it should be a good show! And who knows, if I like his new songs I might just buy Resurection. At the very least for the duet with Bruce...

I thought Priest was perfectly happy with
their new guy "Ripper" ?
hey VH3 fan , have you ever heard Halford in a band called FIGHT . FIGHT kicks ass !!
I don't care what people say about Rob because he is gay , I think he ROCKS!!!!
I saw Rob Halford do a warm up concert preparing for the Maiden tour in a small venue in Central Illinois last week. It was a great show. I heard a lot of the new CD and it is some great Heavy Metal. The best he's done since he has left Judas Priest. I'l be at the Chicago Maiden/Queensryche/Halford show on August 25th. Cant wait!

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Judas Priest reunion either. The album was scheduled for release in fall 1999 and from rumours, Ripper has supposedly said that it was not even past the demo stages. From what I hear JP will tour with Scorpions and Nazareth (they will open for Scorpions). Bad move if you ask me... (Compared to Halford who opens for Maiden). Halford will gain steam while Priest will lose a LOT.
