For anyone planning on attending Sam's B'day Bash in Cabo:

"Dinner tickets are $40 UDS per person and are available for all shows except the September 30th show. Cash or travelers checks only. Dinner tickets include: Dinner + Welcome Waborita + Show Admission. Drinks not included.

Tickets go on sale to the public at 2PM and will be sold at the Cantina only under the following schedule:

For shows on 10/01, 10/03 & 10/05: Thursday Sep 29th

For shows on 10/07, 10/09 & 10/11: Thursday Oct 6th

For shows on 10/13 & 10/15: Wednesday Oct 12th"

If you're not interested in dining at the restaurant, then yes, the B'day Bash gig is free. If you want to enjoy a little sit-down before going in, then it'll cost you $40 per ticket.

O, ok. I can't wait to make it down there one of these years. I wonder if buying one of these food packages guarantees you a spot in the club? That would be one way around not camping out in line, no?

Yes, it does, but there really isn't a "spot" to guarantee you.

If you get the early dinner tickets, which are hard to buy, you'll get into the club before everyone who bought a standard ticket, along with everyone else who bought the same type of ticket you did, and who have been waiting outside the main entrance to get in since around 2 pm.

If you buy a late dinner ticket, you'll still get into the club, but it'll be after everyone else gets in, and you'll have to fight your way to the front.
