or just too high...
I'm not 100% sure I understand what you're saying. Personally I never would have put these two songs together and seen a similarity but now that you mention it, I still don't see a similarity.http://216.10.25.192/vhlforum/smilies/biggrin.gif
While we're on the topic, is it me or should Last Call by DLR be called Walk This Way Part 2?

Ok, on the subject, I'd say I like Song Remains the Same more. Hell, 1984 versus Houses of the Holy is a good match too.
Off the subject, Glenn, I thought I started a thread about that before but I don't remember if it was here or not. Last Call sounds very Aerosmithy, as does Shoot It. The reason Last Call does is because the intro, the guitar part and doesn't Dave say "sassaphrasie"(sp?)?

Not sure which of us was the first man on the moon, but at least we agree.http://216.10.25.192/vhlforum/smilies/smile.gif This was something I had mentioned to Loons many months ago. ALAE is such an awesome album of Dave's, and it's my favorite of his.

I always thought Blacklight off the DLR Band CD sounded a lot like Led Zep.

The solo break in "House of Pain" is very Zeppelinesque - the rhythm is similar to the solo break in "Dazed and Confused"...

That's the first thing I thought of when I heard Black Light. That intro is Zep like and Dave sounds like Plant at first. I love that tune.
Glenn, ALAE is my favorite Dave solo album. It's so DAMN good. I listened to it today.

This thread rocks. It shakes like Ted Kennedy reachin' for his breakfast beer.
