I just got out of a thread where people were saying how kickass Sammy Hagar is and how he has kickass quotes!This...From fucking DLR fans!

This Kicks soooo much ass! Well for me at least! Of course it took Hell to freeze over, the act of god, 17 loooong years, and thoughs guys just to hang out for just a lil while, just so all DLR-Hagar fans to actually say nice things.....for at least a little while!
We have all found that commen ground my friends and that is, Ed and Alex Van Halen screwing them and possably the fans over! Hmm...who woulda thunk!

It's simple as this, Colin.

The options for Van Halen are STILL Dave or the Grave. However, at this point, it appears that the bitter angry greedy old man and his MIA brother (collectively known as The Lying Dutchmen) have chosen the grave.

They were the ones who initiated all the shit talking that began in 1986. Sammy bought into all that, until they did the same thing to him 10 years later.

Dave's objections to Sammy were in all likelihood based on Sammy's lyrics and the cheese factor he brought to Van Hagar. Dave acknowledged in his book that Sammy got screwed by the Lying Dutchmen just as he had. I don't believe there was much animosity between the two after 1996. However, not much likelihood they would become friends either. And as for working together in any capacity... Yeah right. :rolleyes:

But given the fact that the end of the world officially began about 20 days after the new millenium started, we are living in strange times. The Lying Dutchmen refused to make peace, so Dave & Sammy did. Yeah, it's crazy. But what the fuck isn't anymore?

Dave is Dave.
