So I am a little slow, I thought this would be a lot of throw away tunes, because of how he avoided them on tour.
This is a great CD, I am loving it. Kicks ass. makes me more pissed we have no new VH w/dlr.
oh yea, sorry but I am too lazy to figure out what fucking forum this belongs in.
Agreed....it's a great album. Fun to listen to.

Great album. I just wish the production on it was better. But the songs kick ass!
Probably my favorite stuff DLR has done solo!

I was disapointed in it to be honest.http://www.vhforums.com/vhlforum/smilies/redface.gif
I think that Dave's voice sounds weak on it and the guitar playing wasn't half as good as Dave's early solo albums.
There are a few really good songs on it though. My favorites are Slam Dunk, Tight and Black Sand.http://www.vhforums.com/vhlforum/smilies/smile.gif
Anyway i'm moving this topic to VH Albums.

I reckon it's pretty rockin', the guitar tone & production gets a little samey though, could do with more variety & more Backing vocals.
Still love it though...

It has some pretty fine moments. I think it falls in comparsion to Eat Em and Smile and Skyscraper. I like it a lot more then Your Filthy Little Mouth.

I'll probably get nailed for this but.....I thought that C.D. blew. I've listened to it numerous times & nothing on there grabs me.....Personally I like VH3 better but that's just one fellas opinion. http://www.vhforums.com/vhlforum/smilies/biggrin.gif
