Buddy Rich= blows anyone away who ever held a stick!

Dennis Chambers= this guy scares me shitless. You thought Portnoy had fast feet.

Stewart Copeland= best cymbal sound ever, thanks to Zildjian.

Brian Blades= Young kid from NY, un-fucking-believable time and odd time.

Bill Stewart= I saw him live and I had to have my jaw rewired cause I couldn't get it off the floor. How does he do that?!?!?

There is a world of drummers out there who have crossed that line into consumate musicians. Unfortunatley, few of them are metal drummers. If you are interested in expanding your horizons, e-me and let me turn you on to some outrageous, should-be-illegal, fucked up drummers!

Eric Singer played one of the coolest solo's i've ever seen back on the "Revenge" tour. Eric Carr was another good live drummer.......both smoke Peter Cris! As far as drum "sound" goes, I liked Vinnie Appice on Sabbath's "Live Evil".

I have no musical ability - so some of these guys might not be considered great technical drummers, but I like 'em (not in order of rank):

Joey Kramer - Aerosmith
Brad "Bun E. Carlos" Carlson - Cheap Trick
Phil Collins
Mick Fleetwood - Fleetwood Mac
Jon Farriss - INXS
Stephen Jo Bladd - J. Geils Band
John "Bonzo" Bonham - Led Zeppelin
Stan Lynch - Ex Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Larry Mullen, Jr. - U2
Frank Beard - ZZ Top

and of course...

I always liked Tico Torres style of playing too, Robert Sweet's drums sounded killer! I loved his kick drum sound. There was a Quiet Roit album that came out a few years a go and Frankie's drums were awesome! (sound wise) I can't remember the name of the album....??? I think it was in 95,96???
