View Full Version : Fans Booing Sam or Dave?
I'm not trying to be negative here, but this has crossed my mind. We all know that there are Some Dave fans that can't stand Sammy and vice versa. Does anyone think that there will be some jerks at the shows that will boo when the "Other Guy" comes on stage. I'd like to believe that this won't happen but you know how people can be. An example would be the VH3 tour when Cherone would occasionally get booed. What do you guys think?

Unfortunately, I think it's both possible and probable. We'll see!
It's more likely that if they don't like one or the other that they'll either leave early or show up late.
entirely possible!!
i think there would be less of a chance of it happening if vh was actually playing behind them but ya never know
i'm sure some off the wall stuff will happen

I didn't hear anybody giving Gary a hard time in Indy. The show went over really well.
If somebody wants to heckle and stand there looking like a drunken asshole, that's their choice. Dave and Sammy have both been putting up with that for a long time.
If Sammy leaves the cheese ballads at home, there will be nothing to "BOO" about. :D

What do you guys think?depends on the crowd. my experience is crowds in the north east are generally more rowdy, willing to cut into someone.
midwesterners are by and large a lot more tame. they just want to party and have a good time.
haven't seen a lot of left coast shows, so i can't really comment beyond the obvious.

When I saw VH in '93 in Costa Mesa, I was in front of some asshole who kept screaming for DLR. Why even go to the show if you are gonna want something you can't have? (keep in mind this was almost 9 years ago).

That would be really lame and disrespectful if someone booed Dave or Sam. If being there while the other singer has the stage is going to be a problem, either leave early or show up late.

While I would never do such a thing myself, I'm sure someone else will. Some adults don't know how to act in public.

If I make it to a Dave/Sam show and spend my hard-earned money, I plan on giving Sammy every chance to show me I've been wrong about him all these years. To sit there and boo would only make me look like an ass.

and as I'm sure we've all found out by now, there are a LOT of assholes (mostly ones influenced by concert beer) that show up to concerts smile.gif
