View Full Version : Ed and Al's MOM???
Is Ed and Al's Mom still alive? I'd never heard of her passing, but someone stated that they thought she passed away of cancer a couple of years ago. Anybody know?

I think Eugenia is still living. I never remember reading that she had passed. I never hear Ed and Al talk much about her except when they were on Howard Stern and said their Mom used to whack them with a wooden spoon across the fingers if they were not practicing on the piano. Now you got me thinking. Anyone?
he says his mother had passed away on the mattrock mtv vh special....she was one of the inspirations for the song josephina....

Really! http://216.71.70.54/vhlforum/smilies/confused.gif I watched that program and don't remember Ed saying anything except that she had had breast cancer. I thought she was still alive. If not, that's too bad. http://216.71.70.54/vhlforum/smilies/frown.gif

I thought she had passed away, but if she's still with us that's great. I'm glad that she was able to beat the cancer.

Their mother fought and won ovarion cancer back in "96". That was one of the reasons for the delay in the starting of VHIII. I heard a interview on WRIF with Drew and Mike. You can here the interview there. www.wrif.com (http://www.wrif.com)

Not to be too much of a prick, but it's funny how Ed & Al can delay the start of an album to take care of personal family things, yet when Sam did it, he got fired!! Go figure, and it wasn't even an album!!!!!

I think she's pretty sick and nearly 90 years old if I'm not mistaken.

She was born in 1914 so she's 86.
Like I said, almost 90. http://www.vhlinks.com/vhlforum/smilies/smile.gif

Man I've just noticed this but it seems like Glenn knows everything in VH101. Also I thought Gary and Ed both had someone that inspired Josephina for them. I know Ed's mom but not sure if Gary's mom was an inspiration.
