Are there going to be any Dress Rehersal or Warm Up Concerts before the tour starts? When? Where? ?

Didn't you hear???

They're playing in OLO's backyard but only if they agree to buy him a new hot tub cover and refund him for VH3...

Historically, they've played a public warm up show, usually in LA for every tour from '93 onwards. I would have thought one of the Hollywood clubs only a few miles from the hotel where the press conference was held on Monday would be ideal for such a show afterwords or that evening but that didn't happen.

I still think it's a better than even odds possibility a week or so before opening night of the tour but I also think there's an awful lot of tentativeness not to chance any bad press before the tour starts if any facet of their performance gets panned.

i dont know I think the preshow thing could swing both ways. On one hand you dont want to give out a negative review, but on the other hand, wouldnt you want to give Teen Wolf a little bit of a feetwetting moment and give him some experience playing in front of people?

Well in this age of the internet the reviews and performances will be read and seen via youtube and sites like this one, so having a "dress rehersal" really won't change things as far as ticket sales go.
I'm sure all of them will have some jitters before taking the stage on opening night, yes Wolfie will likely pee his paints when they are about to hit the stage.

They really should have atleast 1 or 2 pre-tour shows, for the newbies sake.

Wolfie's played in front of thousands before, many times in 2004. Obviously, he didn't play much, but he knows what it's like to be out there.

let's see..playing 3 chords for 2 minutes while his dad solos over it versus replacing a founding member in the world's greatest band...

hmmm...yeah you're right...the kid has tons of experience...

Go fuck yourself.

You are speculating about something YOU HAVE YET TO HEAR A SINGLE NOTE FROM.

This forum is for the 2007 tour and primarily for those who'd like to see it. A chance to read reviews, links to get tix, etc.
Not for those who don't support it and like to shit on it at every chance.

Go to the present/future forum for that bullshit.

Agreed! Sorry but I do. The people who have problems with the tour have plenty of other threads in Main to air their views. Dragging it across into this part of the forum makes no sense at all other than to wind people up and cause conflict.

I'm confused about something, aren't the "sheep" Van Hagar fans?

Oh and I agree with VV, leave the anti-tour shit in the other forum unless you see them perform and your opinion of it was that it sucked. Not the opinions made without hearing a note or seeing a performance.

I gotta say something here. Is Eddymon REALLY THAT BAD? I've followed his posts here for years and yes he sometimes presses buttons and makes some tired predictions. I personally think it's funny. So quit the hate for Eddymon, he didn't kick your dog for fuck's sake.:smokin:

Why don't you all fuck off.................... oh come on I'm just kidding. Lighten up already.
Hopefully there will be some warm up shows in front of people other than your mom for our sake and Wolfies sake. Yeah he has played in front of thousands before but not for 2 hours.
Oh yeah and I guess looking back now on the 04 tour, every time Wolfie and Ed were done Ed would raise Wolfies hand and say "the future" while pointing to Wolfie. Maybe Ed was planning this all along.
