I was wondering if their was anywhere to buy any of the bands autographs ...especially DLR. I was looking on eaby and im not sure if their real some of them look right and they give you a certificate and will give you money back and stuff....i was just wondering how these sigs on eaby are? or if their is another way?

My suggestion to you is go to New York and go to his radio show and get a autograph out there. That way you know it was him and the price will probably be the same.

LOL!!! I've heard it's tough to get Dave's autograph in recent years. For whatever reason, he doesn't like signing. But, who knows...maybe since he's pushing his radio show, he'd be up for it.

Actuallly, I think it may be the contrary...he seems a little more fan friendly and even signed BOBW. Although, I doubt we will see an Amazon River cruise anytime soon. I think prior he was a little more stand offish.

Last year when Dave was doing his week long WZLX gig out of Boston my buddy and I were invited down to the station by the shows producer to watch Dave work his magic from the control room for about an hour. Of course this was a dream come true and we were like 5 ft away from Dave and just wanted a quick hello, maybe a handshake, or an autograph but instead were greeted with a "Daves not up for any meetings or autographs today" "Hes just so focused on his work right now" And were then told to leave and got nothing but an hour and a half drive back to New Hampshire. Not to mention we got up at 4 am to leave and the $25 parking garage fee. O ya, we were also told to leave our names and addresses and the station would send a couple of signed pics. They said it was part of the deal that Dave had to sign a certain number of items for them. Well it was last March and I havent seen any pics. It sucks cause I wish I never had this chance cause it kinda ruins it when I listen to any of Daves music whether its VH or Solo. It was a real bummer but O well, I guess maybe he was having a bad day.

I've met Dave a couple times the past few years and he's willfully signed for me.

I have asked for a picture with him and that hasn't happenend.

The only time I met him was at the end of the Catalyst show in Santa Cruz (at the beginning he rushed in, but said hi)..he signed for all and posed for pics- then back at the hotel a few minutes later he did it again, and posed for pics- I am very appreciative and feel lucky!

Stay away from Ebay for =VH= auto's, or really any auto's on there period. The majority of them are fake and I can tell you just by looking at a lot of the =VH= auto's on ebay right now they are fakes and really bad ones at that.

I agree with the advice of staying away from ebay. I have, or at least think that I have a Dave autograph. I won an autographed CD single of the DLR Band's Slam Dunk some years back from one of West Michigan's local classic rock radio stations and by comparison it looks pretty different than some of those I've compared it to on Ebay. Assuming that the Dave autograph that I won is real, I also have Sammy and Mike's that I got in person via the 5-star at one of the soundchecks. Couldn't score Al or Ed's (neither could anyone else, for that matter). Just thought that I'd share my boring story, but yeah those ebay autos do seem to be a bit shady.
