David Lee Roth played a Santa Cruz club last night- The Catalyst. It was a very enthuastic crowd, which seemed to love everything Dave did and sang. Here are some shots/ clips I took. After the show Dave signed for whoever stuck around, as well as posed for pics. On the one flat he signed I have Sammy, Mike, and now Dave on the same thing...

DLR played for 90 minutes- he arrived shortly before his set, and left soon after. He played his VH hits, with a few solo tunes thrown in here and there.

And on the way home- I just heard on local radio that Ronnie Montrose and Sammy Hagar will be at the "Bone" studios in SF this Monday morning.... Quite a VH related weekend...

I am shocked he signed that copy of BOBW. Yeah, he gets residuals, but wow...so much for the rumors that he won't sign VH stuff...

Thanks- those are lps. The BOBW is actually a color copy of the cd cover which I enlarged and affixed to some poster board type material. The homemade flat has been around- kind of like "flat Stanley.." Here is it being signed by Sammy and Mike at 2 different spots....:

I knew he was coming there, but decided not to spend my Tahoe/ Sammy show $$$ on it. Glad it went well tho. :)
I can't believe how different he looks with his hair short and in it's natural color. He could easily blend in on the street and I doubt many people (except for die-hard VH and Roth fans) would even know who he was now.
