This is from the NYDailyNews:

Diamond Dave, booked up: Rock star-turned-shock jock David Lee Roth, who's filling the Free FM radio slot vacated by Howard Stern when it was K-Rock, gets the up-close-and-too-personal treatment in the upcoming issue of Steppin' Out mag. "He's such an outdoors person that here he is in this giant house and he didn't really even have any furniture in the house," Roth's ex-girlfriend, former Scores stripper Stacey Yarbrough, dishes to Chaunce Hayden about Roth's L.A. lair - in one of her few newspaper-appropriate revelations. "In this big giant room, he had a couple of mattresses, and then he keeps his clothes like in stacks along the walls. This one room in the house had nothing in it except boxes of things from all of the years of Van Halen-clipping services. ... And he's so outdoorsy that he showers down at his pool shower, because in the house the shower and the bathtub are just full of books." Roth had no comment.

I like the part about "newspaper-appropriate revelations". It will be interesting to see what else she has to say about Dave.

I'd be a little hesitent to believe anything from Chaunce Hayden and his "magazine"

Stern listener's know all too well Chaunce's history of making up stories in that rag. In fact, he was on Fox "fair and balanced" news making all kinds of accusations against Stern and Howard blasted him on the air the other day.

Although this source may not be the most creible, a lot of what she commented on does make sense. Dave's house, from what we've seen of it, has a very open feel with black and white tiles on the floor (seen in the Panama video I believe and also in the 2002 No Holds BBQ video). The joint looks the same then as it does today: virtually no furniture. Dave is openly proud of the VH legacy and so collecting all of this shit over the years would start to pile up, and he's wierd enough to keep it in the bathroom. As far as being outdoorsy, one word comes to mind: SKYSCRAPER.

I have heard of reading material in the bathroom but that's rediculous! Well no one ever accused Dave of being normal!

Instead of "some" it sounds more like "one". One thread from someone posting a pic of DLR wearing a ridiculous outfit from the 80's doesn't necessarily mean it's an "issue". Now finding a pic of a performer from the 80's that DIDN'T look girly? That would be a site to see.

Yes, I'd expect him to be a bit neater.

I never thought he was gay. However I also don't consider Paul Stanley, David Bowie, Mick Jaegger or Gary Cherone gay....but it would not surprise me that they may have experimented.

George Michael on the other hand was always gay. Never a doubt.

Yeah...George Michael is a "no doubter".

and to be devil's advocate....having a girlfriend hardly confirms that a dude is not gay.

Elton John was married to a woman at one time wasn't he?

Anyone have the article? I wouldn't know the first place to find this magazine, nor would I ever buy an issue. I would like to read the article though.
