It's like an updated version of the "Right Now" video.

I like the more serious theme and some more serious lyrics. The song is pretty good - better than Sam's most recent tunes from "Living It Up" (that's not saying much, though).

I couldn't help thinking about one thing while watching it, though. I was imagining EVH's reaction to this video. "Hmmm... 'right now' that's my song I wrote... Sam's AGAIN making money using one of my songs, he better be wearing a cup!"

I mean Cosmic Universal Fashion the video is just like a continuation of the Right Now video in a sense...

At the end of the Right Now video, Ed, Al, Mike and Sam go into the Mens room...

At the end of the CUF video...Sam and Mike walk out laughing....

It's pretty easy to understand the meaning of this....Even though Sam and Mike are the 2 guys that got kicked out of the band/Men's room...they still came out on the other side laughing and being happy....

It's a BRILLIANT choice imo. Extremely cool to see.

Not crazy about the song, although it is growing on me, but the video was very cool.

Now, my question is, what happens when Ed sees this thing? My guess would be, 1)It motivates him to get recording with Dave, or, B)He dives into 5150 and starts hitting the bottle again.

It could just mean that Ed and Al are constipated.

I think that's only an issue if he does it too often. This is a bit of a one-off really. The fact it's happened not long after the Van Halen 07-08 tour makes it seem more than coincidence, but Hagar could try a lot harder to live off his legacy if he wanted.

Pushing it a bit far there, even if it's a good song. I'd say Sammy's not as samey as AC/DC or some of Velvet Revolver's "traditional" rock 'n' roll songs, but he's still a man proud to be rooted in an older style and not take it too far forwards.

JUST HEARD MIKE SAY IN AN INTERVIEW HE CHECKS THIS REGULARLY... I just wanted to thank him for my guitar instructor. I found Rico Monaco and picked him because he played with you guys after the 04' Cabo battle of the bands.

Pictures of Mike, Sammy and Rico on stage together convinced me this was the guy to try and I've not been disappointed! He's a great player and great instructor!
