The band formerly known as Chickenfoot is in the studio! We’re having so much fun creating music
I’ve decided that “I’m on a Roll”! Seriously, I had to make a very hard but very important decision to continue our creation in the studio and am sorry to say that I won’t be making it to the New Fresno Cabo Wabo as previously planned. However, I will be there sometime this year for sure! I will let you know when I’ll be there so be watching for that heads up right here on redrocker.com.

On another note, my most favorite time of the year is approaching very FAST! Yeah baby, you guessed it, my Birthday BASH!
I know I’m going to see you Redheads there and I can’t wait to have fun with everyone this year! Who’s going? I bet I know a few who will be there for sure!!!

VH has done tons too! Like seven cd's and a new album this Oct. and a tour. Granted the CD's were all remastered old stuff.... and the new album is a remastered actual album ...and one was a greatest hits and the tour was all old stuff released 20 to 30 years ago, Ya... I.... geuss ...they ...haven't... done... alot ...of ...anything.LAZY BASTARDS!!!:sleep:

Don't forget the 2000 project with Dave and the other 10 albums worth of material the Ed and Alex have ready to go.

The great irony is that they wouldn't get together with Dave permanently in 1996 because they wanted to move forward.

Yet, all they have done since is trade on past accomplishments with either Sam or Dave on the mic.

Sam isn't my favorite singer in the world, but you gotta respect the fact that the man likes to play and produce music and gives a good effort in keeping in contact with his fan base.

Looks like the FUCK hints were indeed telling--Andy Johns is producing the new Chickenfoot material. Besides having produced both Zep and FUCK, Johns also produced Joe's Extremist CD from 1992. Some cool pics of Chad's kit and mic'ing are included in the link below (also buried in Main under the Rick Rubin thread):
