I don't know much about this gig. When you say "Best Buy private gig," do you mean it took place at Best Buy corporate headquarters? If so, I'm gonna shoot myself. Best Buy's headquarters is located in the Twin Cities, literally just a few miles south of where I live. I know enough people I could have gotten into that show.

Yup--looks that way. Best Buy headquarters in the Twin Cities often has big name musicians flying in even for things as small as lunch concerts for the employees. They're one of the big distributors now, so it's easy to understand why artists want to have a good relationship with them.

Holy crap, that Best Buy employee promotional thing looked as painful as a trip to the dentist in a third world country.

hehe ouch. Well maybe your connections can help you out when they formally tour your area. You know you'll have advance warning for that show at least. lol that would have been cool though. Would you have recorded better video than whats been shown? This maybe sucks for us too. lol :)
