Hey guys, does anybody have a good quality boot from the 3 tour on CD? I'm sorry I wouldn't be able to trade anything, I'm a lifetime VH freak, but new on the bootleg front, and don't have any. So, from one obsessed VH fan to any others ... I'd really appreciate it! We could E-mail or whatever to work something out. THANKS in advance!

The absolute best-sounding VH boot from the "3" tour is the one from Philadelphia These are the only ones that are soundboard/FM broadcast. Any other boots from the "3" tour are audience recordings.
Titles are:
"Unchained Monsters"
"Dirty Water City"
"Corestates Spectrum"
van halen - the only one III is from japan 10/29/98 and is a much better recording than dirty water city from philadelphia. shop around, you may be able to find a copy

Can someone give me a bowl of horse tranquilizers and a Gatorade?
There is also a boot available that is being labeled as "Live in Pittsburgh" that has excellent sound quality, it is a soundboard recording. I attented this concert and it was recorded to be used as a radio concert broadcast, but due to technical difficulties, portions of the broadcast were replaced with part of the show from Reading, PA.
Personally I wish they would have left it alone. For example, when Ed was preparing to perform Josephina, he could not get the plug into his acoustic and started calling to his tech. The tech walked out and just plugged it right in. Ed started laughing and I think this would have been great to have on the boot.
