It was certainly a confusing process to say the least, however I am glad that we were able to get tickets. As for parking in the area, there is on-street parking, however it is very tough to get as those spaces get taken as soon as people pull out. The total cost for was $129 or so, which really isn't that bad after all is said and done. Also if I am correct in this, upstairs at the Middle East is a very small room (200-300 people max), so to see them there really is a treat. I hope there is plenty of Cabo to go around!

I tried and tried, but the show sold out and I am shut out. I'm fuckin' pissed! They should be playing at the new House of Blues, not the shit hole Middle East. I am as big a Hagar/Anthony fan as you'll find and I won't be able to get in. Very disappointed today!!

The Middle East has Chickenfoot listed as being downstairs, which is bigger than up. Downstairs capacity is 575. Upstairs is 194, and there are other bands listed for 5/26 for upstairs already, so you can bet it is down.

I got my presale tix pretty quick, as I knew they would sell very quickly. I feel for those who did not get in, I've been there plenty of times.

I have to tip my hat for them keeping this show down to $40 and the Ticketmaster fees were dirt cheap for this also. My buddy, who will go with me, said he'd pay half of the club membership. So the $65 total it cost me is perfectly fine with me. Now, hopefully they don't try to overfill this place!

Make sure you bring a thing or two for the guys to sign! I know Sammy signs as much stuff as he possibly can.

The CF website says beware of these! Also there are probably some of these up on ebay and craigslist that say "will meet you", "buyer will be guest". So the original buyer goes into the show with the person who won the bidding. It's only the original buyer who has to show ID to get in, the guest can be anybody.

The Field is a great place. Old style Irish pub. Probably easy on the wallet too, not at all upscale like Asgard. They also serve food, and close proximity to the Middle East.

Not sure on my preshow plans though! See you at the show.

Gotta say - I need to find GOOD ear plugs. I can't go without, my hearing isn't what it was - mostly from concerts - and I don't want it to get worse. But I'm tired of muffled concerts, all the ear plugs I've tried just kill the top end, so all I hear is the bottom end, and it sounds like it's coming from a fookin closet. I've tried the stupid little foam ones, the rubber ridged plugs that twist in, and the clear wax type ones that cover the canal vs. going in, which is what I had last night. None are that great. I've tried a couple of music stores hoping they'd have something better, they didn't.

We had a thread going here once upon a time about ear plugs. Don't recall any great solutions there, either.

Yeah they were much better and tighter than I expected them to be at this point. Was a great show and a lot of the songs really crushed. Loved hearing Mikeys vocals & bass up front for a change.

Dude I had to snake my way around the bar, to the speakers on the right, cover my ears and dive into the front by the end! I had my hat out and Sammy grabbed it and threw it on. I was like SHIT! My ears particularly my right one is ringing like crazy, but wow... THAT was a fun show.
