A little worried as there are only (according to ticket master) about 6000+ seats in Universal to go around. If these other theatres are selling so quickly could be difficult here where Roth hasn't played for a while.

JMJI live in San Diego. Can only go to one show or the other probably (Universal or Devore). Do you suggest Devore? I believe they're both about the same distance, aren't they?

JMJ :D I will definitely be at Devore, site of the '83 US Festival. My in-laws live 10 minutes down I-15 in Fontana, so we have instant babysitters for that day. As for Universal, I'm shootin' for that one as well, even though it falls on a Monday.

I also live in San Diego, and I'm gonna hate the drive up there on that Monday, but it is Sam & Dave after all.

I just hope Ticketbastard doesn't pull a bonehead move and place both shows on sale at the same time on the same date.

Someone needs to bring a boot CD, or tape, of the US Festival, so we can listen to it for sentimental reasons that day. :D

i just called the blockbuster pavillion in devore and they still don't have the show on the ticket list yet...hope they don't wait til last minute and i miss it. gonna give ticketmaster a call and see if they have it listed yet

klos web site says glen helen blockbuster pavillion show go on sale sat at 1:00, this friday the 27th. that would be the same time as the universal show going on sale.

Turns out I have to work that Saturday AND Monday, the days of both of the shows. But, that's okay. That's what vacation time is for! :D

I'll also be buying my tickets for Blockbuster first. The Universal show will be a more popular site for everyone (scalpers, brokers, general public, etc.) to want to buy tickets for.

Sammy is from a city in the Inland Empire called "Fontana" (or, "Fontucky", as it's known locally). It's where he grew up.

He lived, and spent time in, the Bay Area after he moved.

When I saw his last tour he had a banner wrapped around himself that said FONTANA! Vince is right. Sammy is from Fontuky!
