No. I am a Sammy fan, but his solo songs are not really radio friendly (unless he's ripping off Gary Glitter).

They played it a couple times here in Buffalo on 97 Rock, the local classic rock station. They were doing a bunch of stuff for the Cabo cruise for a couple weeks and played it several times.

oh i forgot that "i cant drive 55" wasnt radio friendy i will remove it with the other top 40 hits he has over the years from my list of non radio friendly songs

The only reason most stations would play it is if Sam is paying for some promotion for his cruise or his tour. Most stations managers are not going to be screaming to play some new solo Sam. Nor solo Dave just to be fair.

I haven't heard it once. I listen to all the stations in the Boston area that would fit it's style and I've never heard it. Hell, had it not been for the mention of the song around here I wouldn't even know he had a new song. And this from a huge fan of Van Hagar.

Actually heard it twice yesturday, Detroit just lost another Rock station and the only remaining one plays a ton of Halen and Hagar. Didn't expect to hear it twice in one day but I'm not complaining.

Is there anybody who has the new song "Sam I Am" in MP3 format. I just wanted to check it out.
