Hey. Has anyone played the new peavey 5150 II amp yet? I havent really been able to find one so far, and I was wondering if it is as amazing compared to the original as peavey claims. I heard that the only thing different is the clean channel. I mean, for me to pay top dollar for a new head rather than paying less for the original, I hope it has some drastic differences.

Well, other than a better sounding clean channel there isn't any difference that I could tell. As far as paying more for the 5150II I guess it depends on your needs. If you want the better clean channel, then get the II if not, get an original.
