I have a very good friend at a radio station that I talked to today and he said that on that date, something big is going to happen. I don't post rumors that much, but I trust him very much

Let's say a very big rock station here. If you know Detriot at all you'll know it. I have very high hopes on this. I have been taking to him on and off for the last few months about VH and we have been keeping each other informed. He said he just got this info. Saturday, and if thats the case it probably was hanging around the studio for a day or so.

The funny thing is, is that I posted a rumor a couple of days back saying that an Ottawa, Canada station that loves VH, claimed that the reunion was pretty much a lock.

Well, they haven`t said any rumors in a good few months and they always said they`d wait until it 100% gonna happen. So i pretty much trust them, they nailed it when sammy left 4 years ago, and they were the first people i heard break the Gary Cherone story.

Anyway, this excites me, because I have no idea about this station in Detroit or if this guy`s lying or not, but the station in ottawa said get ready for the big announcment in the coming weeks...

And I swear i`m not making this up, it kinda backs up what Diamondcutr is saying...

Does anybody in radio check their sources, look to see if the proverbial 'i's are dotted and the 't's crossed? KUPD down here in AZ went with a contest back in February, sending the winner to DC for a reunited VH July 4th gig that they said was confirmed by members of HBO, who were to film the show. HBO's rep claimed the contracts were signed, but obviously someone screwed up.

I've noticed that it seems rare anymore that DJs or PDs or anyone in radio actually has decent contacts within the industry. Time and time again, they get their info from web sites such as this, or 10-day old rumors on CNN or something!

However, something will happen soon, but not until Ed's done with his tongue therapy, IMHO.
