An audience shot clip, with surprisingly good sound. Anthony sings his ass off, and the band is obviously having a blast. From the Molson Amphitheater in Toronto, 1988.

Awesome post Chef.
However...
Who is this Anthony you speak of? Van Halen? Funny...the bassist for the band Chickenfoot has the last name Anthony. The bassist for VH is a kid and has the last name.....Van Halen, no?
How on earth did Mikey get a lead vocal spot on the III Tour when he MAYBE recorded three songs on the album, didn't record any backing vox, and may or may not be the guy with the other three on the inner tray inlay?
Christ, he was essentially non-existent in the band at the time courtesy of Ed, how in the hell did he pull off singing lead on SGMAD?

That is an awesome version, sometimes I have heard this where Mike is way out of tune vocally, but this was great.

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Ed didn't want him doing a solo, so he gave him that instead. Nice of him. Oops. come to think of it he did do a small solo.
I was at this show...2nd row EVH side...i'll dig out some pics tonight and post...don't really care what anyone says about III...this was a great show.

yea - I wish I would have gone to see them on this tour. I didn't like III so I didn't think it would be worth seeing it live.
On another note, I think that Mike's best bass playing was on the VHII CD. Whenever I go to the gym I crank the VHII and everytime I listen to it you can hear some amazing shit coming from Mikey. IMO Mike's best recording.
