On this CD Edward plays bass on the first two songs correct? I don't believe he played guitar.
Thanks.

No. Ed had nothing to do with that album, except for the bass on "Give To Live" and "Eagles Fly" from Sam's "I Never Said Goodbye" album, in which Ed also played bass on entirely.
"High Hopes" and "Buying My Way Into Heaven" were total Hagar solo projects.

I've never known who did bass on those tracks. Maybe it was a studio player or possibly Bill Church.

Yeah, I know. I looked in the liner notes for info, and there wasn't anything there.

Eddie also contributed a short tapped lead solo section to "Eagles Fly" according to the Official Site .

'High Hopes' is one of the best IMO that Sammy has ever done. I loved the sound of the guitar. I did read that Sammy wanted VH to record the song but that Ed declined. Bad move IMO.

The only things we know for sure is Sammy sang (and most likely played guitar) and David Lauser drummed on those two songs.
The bassist remains anonymous.

I don't think it would surprise anyone to find it it was Mike. I'm not saying it was, just that it's a possibility. Why else would it be uncredited? Mike didn't want to get a scolding from pappa Ed.
