Cool! What did Eddie say? I was in a bar when that came on, but I wasn't sure if it was MSG footage or not.

Eddie Trunk basically said that the atmosphere outside took him back to his youth, that the band was incredible and looked healthy. He was unsure of Wolfgang taking over for Michael Anthony, but he did great and held his own.

Also that "to anyone who has seen this tour, should cherish these memories, because you are seeing one of the greatest, if not the greatest, rock guitarist alive."

Good Show!

I wasn't happy with Ed's playing at Uniondale but he made up for it here.

Note to Ed: Turn down the Gain and Volume just a bit.....or do whatever you want, your Eddie 'Fuckin' Van Halen

The next post I see that isn't a review from someone at this show, you're going bye bye from the site.

Keep the childish insults out of these review threads. I don't want to see them anymore, we're done having to filter this shit out.

If you can't handle someone with a different opinion than yourself about these shows, then you need to just get the fuck out of these threads and keep your mouth shut. These are not moronic debate threads, they're threads to post reviews about the shows, good OR bad.

If it would be alright with you, I'd like to be able to read reviews of other shows on threads supposedly dedicated to reviews without having to wade through your bullshit and responses to it from people trying to straighten you out. I'm having my doubts that you were even at the show. You disguise your real agenda in half-hearted compliments and subjective "just my opinion" digs. People would never buy that it was a terrible show, so you try to sell that it was a mediocre one. Nice try. What you really want is to slam Eddie and feign superiority over the dunderheads who, heaven forbid, actually went to the show to enjoy it. Eddie Van Halen could play nursery rhymes on a toy guitar and still outdo anything that you, in your miserable, pathetic little life will ever do.

Chew on that, asshole.

good stuff

Sorry Brett, I was indeed at the show at MSG last night, but as expected mayhem ensues whenever an honest and not completely glowing review is given. Again, I did enjoy it, it was cool, glad I went ,etc...But I cant deal with some of these people on here. Im definitely not trying to start trouble and hope you know where Im coming from.

Peace

I wasn't really talking to you Wolf, but the rash of crybabies who followed up your review with nonsensical personal BS.

I was at the show...Eddie was on fire...and did anybody notice that he had a monitor by his pedal board? I don't believe he had a monitor by his pedal board the week b4 at the Izod Center??

And is it true that Gary was there, or was that a joke??

I deleted your posts, I also deleted all non review posts. I do not understand why you guys feel its fine for you to debate in the review forum.

Do we not make it clear that this is for reviews only?? Honestly someone answer me. What is the fucking problem???

That pic shows the pure joy of the night.
It was magic. Wait til the dvd comes out!

Eddie was burnin' hot on that guitar, even Dave acknowledged it!

I didn't notice any cameras other than the one's for the big screen. Are you sure there's a DVD coming out from that night?

Also, I posted this question in a previous post. Eddie was obviously playing at a way higher level than the previous shows (especially Uniondale!)....could his new placement on stage be a reason? Does anyone know why he was perched right in front of Al?
