I was in 5 star and Ed Wolfie and Dave were all very interactive so that crap where people say they aint is a bad rap

Yeah, the big half have to pull all their eggs in one basket cause there ain't much there in terms of skill and talent.

I don't know what it was, but it just wasn't happening for me. I don't know if it was that I missed Mike, or was turned off by Wolf, although he did do a great job! I kept feeling like they almost got it right but without Mikey it wasn't all it could have been but oh well.Or was it Dave's low energy compared to Sammy's high energy last time out or what. It just fell flat. Ed played well but he seems to fill in his solo's with his tricks and trademark licks ad nauseum. I felt like every song they did some break down in the middle where they would bring it way down, which was very annoying. Never really seemed to take off. Al was awesome but like someone else here said he looks like the cript keeper. Dude looks every bit of 50 something unlike Ed and Dave.

It doesn't matter but I think there was help on the background voc's. As I said no big deal, but there is no way Ed, especially Ed, and Wolf sounded that good. I hate to be the spoiler of such other great reviews but this is how it came off to me.

I think that in this day in age the internet almost ruins the show you will see coming up becuase I had literally seen every song clip on YouTube. I knew the setlist, the red flag, the confetti at the end and even what they would be wearing. Nothing left to be suprised about and it's my own fault as curiosity killed the cat.

But they did seem happy as could be and seemed like they would make it through the tour. I only hope they don't tour for the next year and a half so we could all get the new music we've been waiting for!

Looking forward to seeing Sam and Mike next week in Indy. Hoping it won't hit me the same way.
This guys in his own little world. You shit on Ed constantly. Your an obvious Ed hater and plant.
You flew over from the Ukraine to see this show?
and if you did go, you obviously went with such a chip on your shoulder you could never enjoy it.
Dave looks pretty Damn good for Plus 50.
I'd be willing to bet you'll love the Sam and Mike show though.

Sorry but this BS post needed a retort.

He's a plant? A plant for what?
He didn't like the show. That's okay, you know. I'd be a little surprised if absolutely everyone who was a fan loved this show.

The new Van Halen rocked last night, and they will as long as they got the magic cat in the top hat.
you sir are an idiot. I was slamming absolutely no one! I thought that review threads were just that. I gave an honest review, no more no less. Just because my reiview was less than enthusiastic doesn't mean I' not entitled to it.

Ok fuckwit shaggy. I gave an honest review of the show. My opinion that's all. If I do shit on Ed it's because I have felt that his actions deserved it. How am I a plant? Been here a long while dipshit and also not from the Ukraine. Ever seen Seinfield? I did not go in with a chip on my shoulder, in fact I was fired up and have the $320 tickets I bought to prove it. It didn't do it for me but I'm glad it did for others. I also clearly stated that Alex is the one who didn't look good-said nothing bad about Dave. As for Sam and Mike I do hope it hits me better- thus this was why I stated such.

Tip for you oh rider of the shortbus; learn to read more clearly and articulate your thoughts. Are only positive reviews only allowed? Grow up junior. You're the exact reason Brett is banning people for starting/talking shit. Honest post that was my opinion and you choose to start shit. Enjoy the ban to internet syberia fuckstick.....

Thank you sir for understanding a simple review. It seems that others here have quite a problem understanding the English language.

These threads are for reviews, I don't want to see anything else in here but reviews from people who were there. If you want to argue with each other, take it to private message or email. This is the last time we're telling you.

We are sick and tired of these threads being ruined by this childish bickering. ENOUGH!

Can someone confirm that Dave mentioned something of recording the Indianapolis show? Someone said he said this near the beginning of the show and apparently there were some "super professional" cameras that could be seen.

I wasn't there, so I don't know.

I don't remember him saying that. Maybe someone else heard it? But Dave took some lady's cell phone from the front row and put it down the front of his pants, said the lady would have to get the picture enlarged or something?
