Default Loon? Say what?

<<Anyway, Ed played pretty damn good. Incendiary at times. However, I have a sneaky suspicion that this is not gonna last. He was back to his tricks of putting the Loon back in the Gatorade bottle. He had a full cherry one in front of the Special Edition Purple. Though I only caught him once hitting it. >>

<<Now, to the deer in head lights, or WVH. I completely understand his nervousness, hell, I was nervous for him. >>

What is Loon? Booze? Wine? What is full cherry one? Special Edition Purple?

What a drag for his kid if he's drinking again.

Funny review! I felt like I was there. Hope to see them in LA.

I can’t comment too much on the Charlotte show because the seats where terrible (upper level) it is not the bands fault, I blame the designer of the stadium. It was hot up there and the sound was good but you could not understand all the vocals very well. Anyway we all new the lines by heart and every one was doing back up. We got to sneak on the back side of the floor for the first couple of songs till they cleared the fire lane. Then we went up top side. No matter where we where at lest we where there to witness this.

As far as Eddied drinking I was not close enough to see it, and if it did happen all I can do is pray for the man to keep it together. I would only image the pressure he must be under. If he is drinking it he has it under control enough to put on one great show. I don’t think he is drinking, but if he is it is his own affair. As long as he puts out like he did the first two show you will not be disappointed, if you want to see drinking go watch the heavy half.

Dave was stealer and a pleasant surprise his little story before Ice Cream man I could not make out every thing he was saying because of the poor acoustics in the upper level of the arena, was cool I did get to hear all of it on Saturday night. While telling the story it kind of sounded like he was strumming the intro to good times.

I think we need another witness before we jump to conclusions. Not that I don't believe the poster, but people tend to see what they want (or don't want) to see. I just hope this isn't true.

Smoking Loon is the wine Eddie drank every night on the 2004 tour. Many jokes and hilarious photoshopped pictures were spawned from this.

As far as the other stuff, I guess he's talking about brands of Gatorade

"While the set list has been pretty much established since opening night of the "Van Halen Reunion" tour, seeing it in print versus hearing it roll out in its glorious whooping, screeching, power chord glory is something like seeing one of those panoramic postcards of the Grand Canyon versus standing along the edge of it." -excerpt from a Review of the 2007 Tour
