Ok people would you rather have them play a half ass show or reschedule.

I can tell you that I would rather reschedule than have a rushed or sub par performance.

This stuff has gone on for years with many bands.

Aerosmith took me big time a couple years ago. I bought ticket through their fan club and they would not refund my entire ticket price and the show was canceled. They kept 40 dollars because they claimed that there was already costs to the band due to the late cancellation. They didnt give 2 shits about their fan club members. Let me tell you I was pissed off. I ended up going to discover and contesting the charge and got my money back from the bastards.

I will never go to another aerosmith show. not because they called the show off but because they wouldn't refund my ticket price.

It could be worse.

I 100% agree with you here. I want Greensboro, with a cherry on top. I think a nice tailgate in the JPJ lot before the show will be awesome in warmer weather, lots of people watching, hanging out, ect... everything happens for a good reason and this sucks right now ((I should be rocking out right now)
So, let life play it's hand and hopefully we'll be treated to a better show. I'm being optimistic

Look folks, everyone don't get your panties in a wadd!! The shows just say postponed! Not cancelled! The bottom line is they have not sold enough tickets at this show and like an earlier reply said, VH is not gonna play to a half ass full arena! Just like when they postoned and then rescheduled the St. Louis show! They are giving more time so more tickets will hopefully sell!! For St. Louis, they said it was a scheduling conflict. Bullshit, they didn't sell enough tickets there so they rescheduled to get more fuckin seats filled. I was fuckin hot at first because I have 5 star for this show! Fuck it just have to wait a little longer just like the folks that bought tickets to these newly postponed shows! Peace out all my VAN HALEN freaks!!!!

Exactly my point. That's why you need to untie the knot in your panties and chill. Creating an account to come on here and play forum policeman is not a good way to start off. Last time I checked we already have plenty of moderators, and they do a fine job.

what in the hell are you talking about? so let me get this straight, people come here, speak their minds, voice their opinions etc.. and because something strikes a nerve with someone and they speak their mind they are black-balled? so let me ask you the same question you originally asked me are you their spokesperson?

Van Halen does play 1/2 full arenas. Been there, done that. Besides, VH has guarantees. If the arena isn't full, the promoter eats it.

Chill out newbie. You don't need to throw your weight around to be heard. You have been inflammatory since you got here today. Relax.

not to be a jerk, but I just went to the www.van-halen.com site and looked at the tour list and I noticed that this afternoon it have the oakland and sacramento dates up for april and ticket were going on sale on 3-1-08 but now those dates are not on the site. Something is up. I hope its all BS, but I think someting is going on.

How can they be lying when they haven't released a statement?

Even if they did release a statement, no one would believe it anyway, so why bother. People believe what they want to believe.

I think it's funny that a band that once had a contractual right to cancel a show over the appearance of some brown M&M's backstage, get's ripped for postponing a show for what is probably alot more of a legit reason than that !

I also get a kick out of all these people who complain about the band lying to everyone since their inception, but in the very next paragraph, state that they've been to multiple shows this tour and were considering a third....

Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me twice....aw, nevermind.

Of all the shit that's gone on with these guys over the years, a postponed show is gonna be the straw that breaks the camels back ?

Like it or not, if you haven't jumped ship yet, you're in for the long haul ! You've bought tickets for two shows and were considering another ? You're one of the %80, whether you realize it or not.
