Addicts cause their own problems. Eddie and Britney are both addicts, and they have both been to rehab numerous times. When you see fucked-up shit happening in their lives, it's only logical to suspect that their addictive behaviors are the cause of it.

Have you ever lived with an addict? If you haven't, then you don't know how they operate. If they are not in recovery, they are causing bad shit to happen. That's a fact. You can deny it if you want to. Everyone here is entitled to their own opinion.

Personally I think the show cancellations are the cause of Eddie's addictions. If there is a different reason - then why the fuck would they be hiding it from us? They would have been straight-up about it and said ____________ is the reason for the shows being cancelled.

Was the Winnipeg show confirmed before or after the 2 cancellations ? if it was after , that would be good news, right ? They would not be scheduling new shows if the tour was going to end.

Tell me this. If someone saw Britney Spears doing some crazy shit, would they be "rushing to judgement" if they blamed it on Britney being an addict? Of course not. The same rings true with Eddie. It's just that a lot of EVH fans don't want to hear it. They want him to remain the flawless guitar god from the 80's that they remember. The fact is, the guy has admitted that he is an addict. What has Ed done lately which is crazy. You are very judging, you better get your big book out and clear your thinking. And don't compare Britney with Ed she is acting out Ed has not for all we know. I speak the truth. And buy the way I have not drank in 15yr, and have a great life and don't do AA. I did it for 5 yrs and had to move on. Maybe I ran to judgment with you and I am sorry, but I am just sick of people talking trash about ed I hung out with Dave and Ed after the NYC show and have know Dave for yrs through friends and I can tell you Ed was good with himself. You to i was way out of bounds to speak badly of AA it's a great group. I just get sick and tired of people always pointing the finger and saying that's the reason, when we don't know.

Jesus...calm down...we're not talking about you.....Bottom line is Ed has probably made some bad decisions because of his drinking and he has lost some friendships in that past due to his drinking.....

I for one do not think that these recent cancellations have to do with Ed's drinking....however...if somebody wants to think that...is it SUCH a crazy notion?

No. Ed went to rehab for 28 days....he had been in rehab for that amount of time before and it didn't work....I HOPE and PRAY that this time it did....but it's not a crazy inference that he might be drinking....
