it seems that every week someone starts a rumour saying that they're not getting along and the tour is about to end. This tour has been on the verge of ending about 100 times judging by the posts on here.

MSG is sold out.

Cincinnati Looks ok not great selling.

Raleigh sold well

Baltmore sold well

Manchester, NH almost sold out

NJ did not sell all that well.

MSG Sold out

But you can take it for what its worth. I hope it was ticket sales or a flu. I am only guessing like everyone else.

Looks like Mohegan Sun In CT still has plenty of good seats to right on the side of the stage by ed. It has to be ticket sales for cancellations.

Yeah man, i am very sure this is what it is, like i said earlier. A lot of people on here are making more of something out of nothing. I'm sure tickets didn't sell great these 2 shows. Somebody said the 2 shows are cancelled. WHAT? It says postponed not cancelled. They will reschedule! I can understand the concern on persons that are flying in and hotel rooms or what not. BUMMER! I have seen them in Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, and going to Dallas again, then 5 star in St. Louis!! So hoping things are well. But i am pretty sure it was just not filling enough seats. Just like the St. Louis gig being rescheduled. Same thing.

When you can still buy floor seats you no its not selling. The Ga show u can still get floor tickets 20 to 30 rows back from stage. The first tickets that go are the floor. I don't think any of the other shows will be canceled. Just dump planning by live nation and a lot of greed. Don't book in places were its not going to sell well or be happy with the smaller crowd. I thought it was weird to schedule in Va when they did Dc and are doing baltmore. and its a small collage city. But what do I no. Nothing against Va just thought the city they picked was wrong. and booking Alt 2 times not smart.

Just my $.02 - Ed has had addiction issues his entire adult life. If that's the problem, I don't think they're gonna start cancellations over it. I would think the promoters would hire an addiction specialist to travel with him.

You have to keep in mind - I don't really know what the hell I'm talking about. But he's played drunk most of his life. I think he could prbly keep it up.

I bought floor seats, 12th row Ed's side,to the Ft. Lauderdale show a week before the concert. I checked Ticketmaster a lot and there were always good seats on the lower level available. I really thought the show had stiffed yet it was practically full.

It may be that they weren't selling well but, you can't always go by Ticketmaster.

I can tell you why that might have happened. They close the 4 and 5 star sales around 10 to 12 days from the show date. Those tickets that did not sell go back out for sale. and the 4 and 5 star for the second ft l show was not selling well. It's just a thought. I do know that the 4 and 5 star sold badly for that 2nd show.

Andrew is the man. He usually gets the news before anyone else. If what he is hearing "isn't positive", I'm guessing that the whole thing is going to be shut down.

This is not a matter of saying "the sky is falling" every time you hear a bad rumor about Van Halen. Eddie has serious addiction issues, and with addiction comes dysfunction. To expect dysfunction out of an addict is like expecting someone with Alzheimer's to forget something. It's a disease people. If Eddie is not hitting a 12-step meeting in every other city that Van Halen plays in, the dude will end up succumbing to his disease. That's a simple fact. The miracle is that the tour hasn't imploded before now.

If the tour goes on as scheduled without a hitch, feel free to call me Chicken Little.

I got floor seats for both Detroit area shows about a week to two weeks before each show. So, not sure if that would be the case or not. Personally, I think ticketmaster does a lot of funky stuff with some of the better seats.

the promoter feeds most of the best seats to ticket brokers. Those that they can't move at inflated prices are thrown back into the system.

Ahhh... I was wondering if her book promotion on Oprah was just a coincidence with the two VH shows getting postponed. I'm surprised I didn't put two and two together before now.

You guys may think I'm being negative and/or pessimistic, but I'm not. I just know how addicts are. You never know what might push an addict over the edge. They are totally unpredictable. I know by experience - my dad and my brother are both hardcore addicts, and have been in and out of prison all their lives. Addiction symptoms don't usually pick a good time to strike. It happens when you least expect it. Unless the addict is in an ongoing treatment program, there will be no stability in their life.

That would be enough to tip most addicts over the edge unless they are in an ongoing recovery program.
