Anthony claimed Roth had been working with the band again for a few months, but lawyers had shut it down. Strangely, Anthony later denied this. The band's record label (Warner, who had first signed them in 1978) dropped them this year . I could be wrong though with this quote was 2001.
I'd like to know when he denied working with Roth in 2001? To this day he has maintained that they recorded material with Roth.

You're right...it's on there. It's not correct, though. I remember the quote from the NAMM Convention where Mike said, "we're in the studio and Dave's singing this time." I don't believe he ever denied it later, though. I also don't remember Ed ever acknowledging that Dave was there at that time...but he was.

I would be very surprised if they gave a shit about anything we say on here either way...if they even did read, which I doubt.

I'll probably sell them on Ebay. That is if the whole tour doesn't get cancelled. I'm guessing it's a 50/50 chance right now. I read this on another message board the other day:

Quote:
I have a musician friend who supposedly has a Van Halen source. He was right on (albeit after Andrew speculated on it via his source) about the Dave reunion and Eddie's rehab in early 2007.

Anyway, apparently the tour and reunion is off. There is some serious in-fighting going on and Eddie's pissing off the wagon again.

So...it may be over. Glad I saw the show.
I guess we'll wait and see.

Another great quote from Dave (Sea of faces oceans of beer have no fear Diamond Dave is here). And don't worry he will be back in Dallas next Monday.

Thing is I was supposed to see the show four months ago in Saint Louis but they cancelled it. Now we have cancellations happening again, and again no one from the VH camp is giving any reason for them. Then I read posts about how there is serious war going on inside the VH camp. What am I to think?

I don't take it lightly when shows get cancelled. Something serious has to be happening for this to occur. People have lost money on non-refundable plane tickets and other things. This is not a game, and when people complain about it they are not "whining".
