I will let someone else make those decisions and organize this since I am still on the fence as to whether I am going to go or not....but....in 2004 we picked it because it is a very short walk to the ACC and more importantly we had a lot of out of town visitors joining us who don't really know the city very well. How can you not find a place that's directions are: HRC in the Skydome which is at the bottom of the CN Tower? Let's just say everyone found it with no problem. Once you start sending people to the bars on Front St. you are pretty much taking a gamble that people will find the place.

Whether I go to the concert or not, I will still be meeting up with everyone before hand. That's just the kind of guy I am.

Which also means we will not be working on Monday!!!! Van Halen always seems to time these Toronto shows perfectly!!!! The long weekend in 2004 was amazing timing. This is pretty good too!!!

Jetguy---make the effort to go---you may never see a DLR fronted Vh show again---the $$$ may be more than any one of us would like to spend but i'm gonna drop the dime if I have to---hope to see all of you at our meeting place---Hard Rock or anywhere else is decided

Trust me...money is not the issue here. And I will probably end up in a nose bleed seat. I just have no excitement whatsoever for this tour. Can't explain it at all....just no excitement. As for never seeing a DLR fronted VH show again...let me tell you a little story.... Dated a girl in late highschool and she was smokin' hot. This chick couldn't get enough sex and I dated her for 11 months. It was amazing. A month or two ago she found me on Facebook and I agreed to meet her for a drink. I showed up at the bar, scanned the room and didn't see her. Then this hideous beast starts flagging me down and it was her!!! She was using her old photos on Facebook. Moral of the story... somethings may be better off left to memory.

As said....I will grab a nose bleed seat just to be safe. Doesn't mean I will go though. But beer with you whackos will be worth the drive anyway. Who's buying????
