Official Jacksonville Thread
Never thought I would be starting a thread for a city that I don't live in. But I have not seen one for this show, and since I'm traveling from Cleveland to see my sister and go to this show, I'm starting one.
Got Lodge seats and a limo. Can't wait. I just hope it holds up to the October Cleveland show. If not for me, for my sister. I've been hyping this show to her for the last 4 months.
At least this is a Saturday show and not a Wed. one like the Cleveland show.
Hello to all my friends in Jacksonville. I can't wait to come and enjoy some fun in the warm weather with Great Music. See ya Saturday.

Believe it or not, Jacksonville resides in the state of Florida. Perhaps you did not notice this the two times you posted there, conveying the same info both times.
Yes, you are flying in from Cleveland. We get it already.

I may be a dick, yet I at least have a sense of humor.
Let's see, you twice bragged about traveling to the show (as well as a third time to yet another thread) as if flying from Cleveland is some sort of supernatural feat. I was not aware that the area had only recently discovered air travel. Good for you and your City of Commerce Department, and welcome to the twentieth century.
No one answered your posts in the Florida thread, leading you to conclude that:
A. It seems that residents of Florida could not read a state map, and failed to realize where Jacksonville was, or
B. People traveling to the show from outside the state may somehow confuse Florida for Georgia or Texas.
Congratulations on thinking "outside" the box, Mr. Wizard.
Now lighten up and enjoy the show. In all seriousness, I applaud your efforts and dedication to attending these concerts. I was merely having some fun with what appeared to be a sense of self promotion on your part.
Good luck to you, and all the best.

Has anyone heard anything about VH making an appearance at the race on Sunday? Just wondering since they are all around the area during speed week.

Not a word about an official appearance, and you know how this stuff is promoted by NASCAR, Speed and Fox.

Not to be too harsh, but chef take it easy on people, I rarely hear you say anything positive.

I explained my reasoning to the fellow, thank you for acting on his behalf. By the way, who are you?
I take it you've read all of my postings.
MYOB, OK?
Thanks.

I was reading the paper this morning, and I honestly did not know that feat has never been accomplished!
SAF, check out the stickied "Racing" thread in "Play Ball". We also have a NASCAR league going at Yahoo (details are mentioned in the thread). You'd be welcome to join, yet hurry as the deadline for entries is approaching!

Billy Batts: No. The kid's over here. We're hugging and kissing over here. And two minutes later, he's acting like a fucking jerk.
Jimmy Conway: No, no, no, no, no. You insulted him a little bit. You got a little bit out of order yourself.
Billy Batts: No I didn't insult him. I didn't insult him.
Jimmy Conway: I'm sorry. You insulted him a little bit.
Billy Batts: No, I didn't insult nobody. Give us a drink. Give us a drink.

I lived in Louisville from 1977 to 86. Lived in Prospect and went to Trinity. Hope to hear from you.
