Scotty, were you able to get tickets? I was able to pull tickets online for Floor Section 2 about an hour after the sale began, after I foolishly went to the box office. I looked online this morning just out of curiousity, and there were still decent Lower Level seats available.

No, I didn't, but I'll probably give it a shot.

I put the 2DVD set of NJ (11-03-07) into the player last night to check the quality. While we were watching it my loving wife logged into the JPJ arena site and scored us floor seats for the 22nd. Better seats than we had in Greensboro and for less $$!!! Hot Dawg! Total surprise as I thought once was all she could take. Apparently she wants more!

Outstanding, Ludwig! Now that's a wife who understands her man...

I'll be on the floor as well (Section 2, Ed's side)...now let's just hope that "good" Eddie shows up that night!

Just checked the JPJ site, there looks to be a least one more good floor ticket available (for those who may still be looking).

Me and a dozen employees / friends / family will will be scattered throughout the arena. Three car loads making a 4.5 hr drive.

Hopefully no bad weather (cross fingers)

I got 5 star VIP to the concert! I'm stoked! I hope Eddie plays as well as he did when I saw the band play in Greensboro

Question Pre-Show?

OK Linkers...T-minus one week to the show and counting! Where is everyone gathering for their pre-show partying? Have a few places in mind, if anyone need a suggestion.

Still good floor seats available, if anyone has been waiting. Looks like they did the ticket drop earlier this week.

Just a reminder: the Arena is dry, so get things started early!

Hey VH Wahoo- It sounds like you've been to the JPJ Arena before. Can we tailgate at this place?

I recently acquired a couple seats in the pit so I need to sell my original two seats in Section 103 if anyone is interested in a decent elevated lower section.

Ben, yes you can, it's a proud C'ville tradition! Get your partying on early!

OK so where is everyone planning on "tailgaiting" beforehand? In the parking lot? I saw on NBC29 that we may be in for some nice Cville special "wintery mix" yuck!

This is my 1st post here, I have been a member at classicvanhalen for quite a while and they have "crashed" again. I'm missing my VH buddies over there and needed a new home --- I hope you'll have me!

I went to the Greensboro show as well and almost wet my pants when I found out they were headed to JPJ. I've seen Dave Matthews, Kenny Chesney, Raschal Flatts, Rod Stewart, Clapton and a few others there. The venue is fantastic except for the ACC "dry" rule.
We are in sec 103 low seats. We had similar seats ion Greensboro and I almost punched a hole in my poor husbands arm when I saw Ed standing beside the steps before he came on... took right on back to 1978.... then onto my high school years....when Valerie Bertinelli sat in the seats in front of us in Columbia SC for the 1984 tour. (she's quite nice actually)

So we have T minus 3 days and counting......

EVHgirl: I'll be at the BW3 in the Barracks Road Shopping Center for pre-show festivities. Weather doesn't look like it'll be too condusive to tailgating. The Millmont Grille is also close to the arena and has a nice bar area and menu.

mike-o: DARN RIGHT!!! Just be careful on the drive up, the roads may be a bit iffy due to the weather.

Well, I'm trying to figure out how to get myself into JPJ pre show.... yes I am serious. My husband says if I get arrested he will not get me out!

I am friends with our wonderful police chief Mr Longo (I am an ACAC rat and we work out at the same time). I'm thinking if anyone can get me into JPJ he can - RIGHT????

In all seriousness, I wouldn't attack anyone, well, I'd try not to and I just want my Guitar World mag signed... that's not asking much is it? I was thinking I'll just stalk out, I mean, drive by JPJ to see the trucks and buses come in and maybe stand on top of my SUV to see them. I mean if I lightly tapped the bumper of the correct bus from behind I might get to meet someone??? Maybe a bad idea...

OK, just being silly, I think, depending on weather, we'll have drinks and dinner at home or hang out in the lot (I bought parking because I'm not risking trudging from Darden school all the way over in my pretty concert heels!)
And the weather, as of 6pm, looks frightful for Friday. Hopefully that will change!

I am making the last minute trip.

Is it a pretty easy walk from the Red Roof Inn to the JPJ Arena?
