Well shit scotty maybe we can arrange for the Lakers to play the Clippers every night.
You have to face the likes of Denver, Portland, and SA at some point. Quit hiding. (and yes I'm changing my tune already about SA.)
Actually I'm not sure anyone can beat the Lakers. Maybe Denver.

Too bad for the Clips too. Kid's a bruiser. They could sure use him.
Wouldn't we all have been better served though watching the Lakers face the Nuggets on opening night in a real western conference showdown?
Then we'd have witnessed a great battle, AND the league could've featured it's rookie of the year for 2010 in Ty Lawson. Now THAT's bank!

Not sure what this has to do with anything, but if your yapper keeps you company, have at it.

The spurs did an excellent job re-tooling. i still think they have the best chance to beat the lakers in a 7 game series.
Possibly. I do think people have been sleeping on Denver all summer long though. They're damn determined to get another shot this year. Bent on it.
West comes down to LA, SA, Denver, Portland.

That's fine. And I'm happy for them. Just don't make everyone else watch it.
P.S. So far so good with the Artest experiment. He looks really good running with the Lakers.

we agree on this. Denver isn't as good as u think but they're a quality club.

Actually it seems they're better than I thought. This team may be quite improved from last season.
It's only been one game, and I'm a little excited after watching Ty Lawson last night.
I gotta keep telling myself he's a rookie and he that can't really have command of the NBA game as it appears he does at this early stage.
I like Anthony Carter and he's well respected in Denver, but Karl's love affair with Carter has worn thin on Nuggets fans over the years. Then of course everyone saying that Karl hates rookies and that Lawson will be stuck on the bench all season while A.C. gets the minutes.
It was interesting then watching A.C. basicly lose his job in the span of about 12 minutes last night after Ty was inserted into the game, and the look on GK's face watching Lawson perform, and his comments after the game. There's just no denying who the 2nd PG is in Denver this year. Even Karl can't deny it.
Again, it's only 1 game. Relax Wruff. But I really like what I see in Ty Lawson and the Nuggets.
Now they gotta send a strong message in Portland tonight.
didn't u pick them to win it all? how could they be better than that?
Barring major injuries to the Lakers and Spurs, it's hard to imagine the Nugs being better than 3rd in the West. I picked them 4th behind L.A., San Antonio and Portland.
