As in new material? You bet.
To me, this is all just the latest incarnation of DLR's VH tribute band. At least his new Eddie won't be wearing a wig!

Like I said, I fully understand WHY it's being done, blocking out spammers and all of that fun crap and I aint here to go againts the rules or start crap about it, but I don't really think this system will stop worthless posts being posted eash day... these "worthless" post's could just as well get posted by the regular members!!
In a way, I kind of see it this way, this system, implemented to help the site keep a certain order isnt really bringing up new opignions, new ideas or just different topics that new blood might think about... it's actually putting a damper on new members who can share decent information or might start a topic that wasnt done before...
Oh, and BTW, I had a few new topics for you... one of them was posting links for the 5 Van Halen tabbed albums I had but I guess 3 more weeks before I post them... lol

For example, me, I have at this moment 23 post and if you read through all of them you'll see I aint here to jerk people around or to cause shit... smy time and yours is valuable. So to have to wait another 3 weeks before I can start a post is somewhat of a pain.
Just my 2 cents.

Dude I have been here for 8 years and apart from threads that have something to do with the site, I have seriously probably started a total of 15 threads. You don't need to be able to start topics to be an active member and enjoy the site.

Need to learn the ropes!
I am a beginner on forums! It is a knack, I need to work on! Man if anyone cares I should have just stuck with my VH "Hot For Teacher news"!
I started world war 3 with Atlantic records with "So Hott For Teacher News!" I said the "Kid Rock" contest was a fake. Now I'm paying!
In video views, and R&R Jesus Promo!
Is Kidkel69 ever going to learn to keep her opinioons to herself!
Can You teach an old dog new tricks!

I had a thought about the whole "free post" thing. To help discourage the free and useless bit posts that build-up on unnecessary threads, is it possible to just delete those threads, thus eliminating the count on those posts anyway? Has that been tried? Is it worth it for the mods to have to deal with?

Wow already banned and I missed it. Oh well.
I was on a J Priest site and I was at the entry level, couldn't post crap there until I earned the right to move up a level. Needless to say, I quit lurking but do check in now and then for news on the Metal Gods.

Can 4 Star ILAA tickets be resold???
I bought a 4 Star to NJ. I've already seen them twice in Philly and i think that's enough for me.
I'll go if I have to, but I'm just curious if I can sell it... Since I'll need my name and photo ID to actually get the ticket at the Box office.
Is there a way to sell it to someone else?
Joe

You can see what happened there...the fellow gave a mere cursory glance to the forum, found that title ( Newbies and New Topics) and stuffed his post here.
Truly gives one hope, does it not?
