We've decided to make a change on the forums with regards to new topics. There are entirely too many unnecessary comments being made into new threads. And no we're not laying blame strictly on newer members, there are plenty of the old guard doing this as well. But it's easier for us to manage the newer people and get them understanding the site before they jump in with new topics all over the board, rather than "teaching an old dog new tricks."

So starting today, members who have been registered less than 2 weeks AND have less than 20 posts cannot start new threads. Once you have fulfilled BOTH criteria, you can start new topics. Simple as that.

Now if you've registered in the last two weeks and have 20 or more posts as of THIS MOMENT I created this thread, it was too much work for me to revert you back to not being able to create new topics, so you're getting a pass. So be good.

LOL dude don't worry about it, it's not going to affect you. It's not that big of a deal really, but it will hopefully help the site be a little nicer place again. But that's a whole separate thing from this and we're not quite ready with that.
