Ok well I guess I'll lay out for you guys what we're doing. For a while, I've wanted to add some new mods to the site. Some of the old guard is gone now and it's time to make a few changes.

So here's the new deal. All the old guard are all being moved to Super Moderator status, meaning they'll be able to moderate anywhere on the site. OLO and Yankee Rose had that power before, now all the old mods will. They really are the people that helped keep this site going for 10 years, and I owe them a lot for their dedication to this place through everything. They don't get near the credit they should for keeping this place alive. So while you won't see their names listed under each forum, they are still here. Think of them as the Board of Directors of this forum.

Goo, Top Timmy and myself are still the administrators of the site. We are the only people who can actually ban, change people's usernames, etc. I may elevate someone else to have administrator authority.

We've asked a bunch of users to become new moderators for the individual forums. A couple have accepted already, I am sure they won't mind me announcing it, even though they don't yet have their new titles.

VanHalenRules will be a moderator in both of the Non-VH forums.
It's Mike will be handling the Play Ball and the Main VH Forums (Past/Present).
Double Down will be handling the Play Ball and Chickenfoot/Solo/VH Albums/YouTube forum.
Daisy Hill will be handling both of the Non-VH Forums.
AndrewThomas.net will be handling the Guitar Room.
onefootoutthedoor will be handling both Main VH Forums (Past/Present).

So welcome them, even though technically they can't do anything yet.

There are other people I am waiting to hear back from, so I'll be welcoming them in this post when they do.

And that's what's going on right now.

Ageing rocker, Ted Nugent was held briefly for treatment at an Arizona hospital after an altercation with a six year old Chinese girl, sources say.

Am I the only one that noticed the NBA Season thread stayed open for days after the Laker title this year, but last year it was locked before the Celts finished popping champagne bottles?? Just sayin'.....
