Default Holy shit--Van Malloy song! "It's the Right Time"

A guy at the Roth Army posted this (I guess it was from Melodicrock originally):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxF4WRORQ9s

At the end is TWILY with Mitch singing on it. This is what they would've sounded like in '96. First "Panama," and now this. And interesting story, too.

That's awesome. It sounds like Mitch really gets what the fans are looking for and it sounds like he was put in the worst position possible. Can you imagine getting your dream job and it being such a nightmare scenario?

That part at the end with the new song is cool. I's wild to hear a little snippet of what could have been.

Thumbs up

wow...

We kinda just got a new VH song?

The sound is killer compared to the leaked Cherone demo version we all have

Never understand why this wasn't the lead single off VH3... great groove!

You gotta release this track Mitch ASAP

That was very cool. I heard all the Mitch Malloy rumors, but never realized that he was basically in the band before all the MTV fall out. Also gave more insight into what really happened with the MTV debacle.

It seems that MTV forced this reunion on Van Halen, but it was just for presentation purposes. And then the crowd goes nuts with the standing O. And Dave got caught up in the moment.

I wonder what kind of album Van Halen 3 would have been, with MM writing and singing instead of Gary. I guess we will never know, except for that teaser at the end.

If you thought Van Cherone was too manly, I give you... Van Malloy!

That guy has the dubious honor of being even less rock than Gary! He makes Gary sound like James Hetfield, and his melodies are not as good as Gary's.

If there ever had been a Van Malloy record, it would've surely been the first VH record I wouldn't have purchased.

The strongest asset of Mitch Malloy: his hair.

The guy certainly comes off as very humble and likable.

It would have been just as awful. It's not Gary's and would never have been Mitch's fault for the failure of VH3.

C'mon.

He did have awesome hair. Him and the bass player from Cinderella should put a band together.

Now THAT would be a hair band.

This MM version is making me like Gary MORE. Only Mitch could achieve this. Amazing!

Yeah, a talented person who seems to be a genuinely nice guy. Yep, let's be-little him for no reason.
