Question

Ummm...not for nothing, but exactly what is "Safe European Home" from The Clash's second album (Give "Em Enough Rope) doing on there? It's an inspired choice to be certain, but...Huh?

True, but I'd still hit it.

I think Wolf must have had a lot of say in the non-VH choices. Who knows!?

maybe but I also think the game company had a lot to say about it as well...I'm sure there were a lot of negotiations with the recordpublishing/management companies involved where they offered spots to certain people while others asked for spots etc.

Ageing rocker, Ted Nugent was held briefly for treatment at an Arizona hospital after an altercation with a six year old Chinese girl, sources say.
It appears that the famously right-wing musician, seen above sporting a wig-mullet and full body beard, had made derogotary comments about the girl's father, a communist party official from Ghangzhou.
Just moments after this photo was taken, the plucky girl, whose name remains unreleased, socked the Nuge with a straight left followed by a roundhouse kick, as she screamed "You don't lock. You don't loll. You illelevant".
Sources say that the Nuge will still be performing his scheduled concert on his poorly attended "American dickhead" tour, tomorrow night. Controversy has followed the tour, which includes live on stage killings of illegal aliens. One unwilling attendee, named Jason, of Cuban - Jewish ancestry, said quite succinctly; "Ted's a fag".

It feels weird to Have Ed, Al and Dave in 1978 wardrobe and Wolfie in Ed's 1984 get up...but anyhow it looks cool.

I'm first in line to buy this one.

The whole thing with Wolf and Mike has been beat to death and I hope we're not treated to another debate in this thread.

That said, I think this game looks cool and I'm definitely picking it up.

Might have been beaten to death, but, there is something new in this video.

Instead of the real Wolfie, who by all accounts appeared onstage like a overweight, shy and confused teenager, we get a digital Wolf who apparently lost like 60 pounds overnight, and moves around like a confirmed pro. Even digitally the real Wolf couldnt cut it and they had to invent a fake digital character to make it work. Should definitely prove the guy has no place in VH.

It was exciting to see 3/4th of the classic Van Halen line-up, but there's definitely the odd man out, a bit like if super mario was holding the bass or zelda. It's not really Van Halen, it's kinda Van Halen. But I'll quote Dave on this one: a little ain't enough.

Something else has undergone change, as well. The first image below comes from a screen capture of the video that was played at that gaming convention a few months ago. The second comes from the video in it's current form. You'll notice that the "cartoon" Wolfgang Van Halen appears to have dropped a few pounds, and apparently has been working out sometime in between.

Question Random thought...

Is it just me, or would anyone else here find it a bit freaky to see themselves digitally animated like this? Just a thought...
