also, I forgot to post about a thing: In EWS intro, wolfie used the striped drill in his bass like the intro of poundcake...It was awesome! anyone noticed that??

Hey not mine but here's some video of Eddie knocking over the amps at the end. He doesn't seem pissed or anything to me he just quickly did it. As usual people are reading "meltdown" into it with no real basis of reality. Sometimes you just feel like knocking over a stack of amps, and why the hell not? I'd do it if I had 20 million or so lying around.

I dunno about meltdown, but from the 5th row, I, my cousin, and others around us saw facial expressions and a general demeanor that you don't catch on a video or from further away. Like I said earlier, between the mike stand thing, tossing the guitar, and the amps, it didn't look like it was all just in good fun or for the heck of it.

Something was definitely off, IMO. Sorry for my speculation here - I said I wouldn't - but this is what we saw, and it was very real.

I went to Charlotte, Tampa and this show was my favorite, Charlotte was great but as far as Dave being allowed, or not, to say things off the cuff and interact with the crowd, none of the others came close. From the added jams of Magic Bus, Mississippi Queen and the fill in of Smoke On The Water at the end of CWR to his comments about being born in Indiana but due to his parents honeymoon at the Raleigh Hotel on South Beach and how it was not important where he was born but where he made his first apperance, ie concieved, so f""" it I'm from Florida baby!!!! To ladies and gentleman I'd like to introduce the newest member of the band Wolfgang McLovin and the intro rap for EBWS about being deep in the Florida Jungle, just brought me back to the old days where what Dave interjected during the show was just as fun as the music. The guy knows how to entertain an if, well he is, being told to keep it quiet, it is a shame because we had a glimpse of the total package that night and it felt like the old days. Glad I went. That show had ambience and atmosphere.

I am a local stagehand in Ft. Lauderdale working this show. Eddy Vanhalen was in a pissy mood all day from the moment he got there all through soundcheck. DLR was absent during soundcheck and I guess that set him off. He was apparently doing the I am DLR thing in South Beach all day and forgot his schedule which led to Eddy's lashing out...not to mention also that V. Bertinelli was on Oprah not too long ago throwing dirt about their relationship over the years.
After Eddy pushed the guitar amps on stage he was seen punching the window to his get away veichle while trying to get into it.
Something certainly set him off... on the other hand, Dave was a great guy to deal with and funny as H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS! (Jabbed in fingures into me as we were taking away the curtain(Kabooki) that dropped from the truss in the begginning of the concert.He was always smiling and having a good time...
