I like a lot of different bands, music, etc... but I always end up back to the basics - Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Zeppelin and Ozzy. Lately every morning at my desk the first thing I do after logging in is plug in my iPod and play "Hand of Doom" - it fuckin' rocks out and gets my blood circulating! Love the guitar riff when Ozzy is singing:
"Oh you, you know you must be blind
To do something like this,
To take the sleep that you don't know
You're giving Death a kiss
Oh little fool now"
Glad that in recent years Black Sabbath has finally gotten the critical acclaim they deserve.
Well, that should give us one real good one by Spring 2010...

Tony looks like he fucking getting YOUNGER...
man those deal-with-the-devil arrangements are good for the skin, eh?
wonder if it's makeup or botox..
Could be the stem cell technology he mentions in this blurb. I'm working with a stem cell developer now, and these guys are not only growing hair and tits (sold separately), but fingers and gall bladders - the former of which I'm sure would be of interest to Iommi.
As for the contents of the interview, I'm setting my expectations low - as any sensible VH fan (oxymoron?) should - and I'll settle for anecdotes about the two bands first tour together. I'll be pleasantly shocked if there's anything more revealing than that.

What I find SHOCKING is that Iommi and Eddie meet for an interview for GUITAR WORLD. They both have guitars during the photoshoot and possibly during the interview was being conducted.
You mean to tell me NOT ONE PERSON ON THE GW staff thought to ask the two of them:
Hey guys....Would you be interested in jamming a bit? We can put it on the monthly DVD. People will love it. Seeing Iommi and Van Halen jamming!
I mean if I wanted to read an article about both their pasts and their lives I'd read TIME magazine or People.
It's a GUITAR MAGAZINE. Have TWO TITANS. Have the two KINGS OF INDUSTRY jam it out for a couple minutes.
