Kinda hard to say how the hell Ed talks today... we've never really experienced Sober Ed before...
Every sound clip lately he sounds more and more like the Sylvio Dante character played by Stevie Van Zandt of the E St Band fame...

After Vegas make money again
I suppose there are more people asking about when LEFT HANDED Wolfgangs are going to be available than when a new record might be released.
"Took a short break and went to Vegas with Janie, Wolfie and Olivia.
Hung out and relaxed, saw three Cirque shows, shopped, checked out the town and had a good time all around.
Back home now and busy planning Janie's birthday and working on some stuff in the studio.

So FIRST it was NO RECORD until Wolfie graduates and I get married.
Now it's....I'm busy planning Janie's birthday party?!?!?
Oh and also....I'll be working on some stuff in the studio.
So it went from....rehearsing for a tour with Dave.....then it was if Dave is ready he can come and join in on the sessions.....Now it's working on STUFF in the studio.....
I LOVe that he is posting stuff about going to Vegas. I think that's cool. But when it gets to the part about "taking a break...and recording some stuff in the studio.....and planning the birthday"........Ed.......next time don't post anything, buddy.

glad ed said he was happy and healthy, that way he'll keep a bunch of people on here filled with false hope that he'll actually do something in the next few years, I mean lord knows he's got so much to be depressed about in life. the sinple fact that it has to be constantly pointed out that ed is "happy and healthy" all the time makes me nautious at this point. what in his life is preventing him fro0m being happpy at all?

That's all good. I dig seeing him honor the retro thing with the necklace. lol
It was stated way back they will put out a new album and nothing has been said to cancel that. Just because we don't have studio updates and a lot of talk doesn't mean it's all bs and nothing will come. I remain totally optimistic of new music and a supporting tour.
I understand why people are frustrated and jaded. I'm not so jaded though.
I think good things are in store and in the works. A lot of signs point in that direction imo.
