I heard this song a long time ago and remember thinking, "Just when I thought I heard all of the eighties cheese I could, this proved me wrong!" That song is terrible, as is their other stuff I've heard.
I can't even fathom how this vocalist is even remotely compared to Sammy Hagar. Like someone said, he's a Kevin DuBrow wannabe, and may God rest his soul, but DuBrow wasn't all that great at what he did either if you ask me. That says something.

Layne! Miss him dearly. Just such an original voice. Instantly recognizeable. Great artist BTW too. he conceptualized alot of the AIC cover art stuff, and also did the artwork for the Mad Season album.

Hagar is a screecher and has become MORE of one over the years to the detriment of any melodic quality he used to have. Axl has a distinctive voice not necessarily a good one i agree.

Do yourself a favour and listen to some of their live stuff on youtube. You may not like the band, but his voice is good for what he does and certainly better than Hagar for that type of stuff.
