KILLER!!!
Took my 12 year old son for MY 40th. Think I was the only MOM standing on the floor w/ her kid...but we both loved it and they ROCKED!
Looked, sounded and got along great. What a blessing!!!
Thank you God of Rock for the Van Halen family and the incredible talent of David Lee Roth...together? They're NUTS! Relived my youth. OH what a night.

Yeah, I heard that...we were right by the soundbooth as well...but we didnt see her...oh well. There was a chick in the sound booth, and if THAT was Val...dang-more power to her. She looked about 30 years old and rocked with every song.

I was only a few rows back from her. She was...well...looking damn good!
As I said before though, the funniest part was watching Wolf glance down at her every couple of minutes. He put had that "eddie" grin every time he did....couldn't help himself.

I read in the Dallas Morning News that Dave was stayin at The Mansion on Turtle Creek but he never even got off the tour bus? It said Rush were staying there too, go figure, it kind of implied that Dave stayed on the bus to avoid talkin to members of Rush, LOL, oh well

LOL! Funny story! As far as I know, that's where the majority of the big acts stay in town. You ever been there? Good LORD - the CHEAP room is around $500 a night! My good friend (God rest his soul...) that was playing bass with Duran Duran at the time was staying there when they came through Big D on the Pop Trash Tour. After the show, I gave him a ride to the Mansion so we could hang and catch up and was FLOORED by how expensive a stay in that place is. Hamburger from room service (the cheapest item on the menu) was EIGHTEEN FREAKIN' DOLLARS! LOL! Must be nice to have that kind of scratch...
Anyway, random side story - carry on...

I was just watching a clip on Youtube from this show and check out the vintage Dave scream at about the 01:39point of the clip! http://youtube.com/watch?v=Jlm_NCNzWeY
Sounds like the band was smokin'(especially Eddie) that night and the little blues bit Dave and Ed do near the end of the tune never gets old...
Love it!
