I got mine off without too much damage. The spot is a little worn but not too noticable.

ok , just watched the dvd.
outfuckingstanding!!!
loved it. looooved it!
the [erformances were amazing, technically proficient ( sp?) yet also very loose and bluesy. the antics were laugh-out-loud hilarious! buncha damn clowns! remember when van halen was FUN ??
ok , so if you or anyone you know is leary of a double-dip here's what you do:
-give your chickenfoot cd away. give it. away. to ANY vanhalen/classic rock/thrash/metal fan who is onthe fence. just give it to them. they won't be sorry.
-now you need a copy. nature abhors a vacuum. so- buy the deluxe edition for LESS than the first edition. get a plate of snacks, a cocktail some cold beers and turn it up LOUD. sit back for an awesome hour of entertainment.
seriously - chickenfoot can BRING IT.

I went to a Best Buy today and they didn't have the deluxe version. There is another one near me I will look at though. I saw the commercial for the deluxe version on Spike T.V. last night.

Last night at Best Buy I saw the deluxe edition of the CD plus a few cardboard stands and signs. They also had Chickenfoot merchandise, a beanie and a t-shirt.

Pretty nice considering it ran somewhere around $35 at the show.

Count yourself lucky. That's 2 hrs and 15 minutes closer than mine.

When I saw Chickenfoot in Charlotte, I was right in front of Mike, first row, up against the stage. So, with Mike's stacks directly in front and the fact that Joe never came to our side of the stage (in fact he was pretty much hidden from view from some of the monitors in front of Sammy), I did not hear much of Joe's mix, nor did we ever see him playing. By watching Soap on a Rope from this DVD, I realize what I missed. Wow. Joe smokes on this song.
I wish now that I could see them again live and either sit back some to see/hear the whole 'Foot experience, or be right in front of Joe.
I am really looking forward to the release of the full DVD, new Chickenfoot songs/albums, and more tours.
