CF album sales/chart position
21,500 units moved around 250,000 units sold to date US sales. Billboard chart position is 21. Also does the album count as 2 units sold? It is a double album.

Huh?
If your copy had an extra disc, please elaborate. I bought a friend an ELO boxed set one Christmas, and it included 4 discs as opposed to the promised 3 (the second disc contained 2 copies).

I would think once they get back to the U.S. to tour, more units will be sold.

I bought the LP also and it is a double set. Only thing different then the cd is the extra track. There is 3 songs per side of LPs.

OK, fidelity notwithstanding, this is essentially a single "record" with only 12 tunes. The fact that they are spread over 2 LPs does not make this a double album release. If the case was otherwise, the album's price would have reflected this. But since vinyl records are an anomaly these days, the pricing of these records is purely subjective. For instance, early in the 80's The Clash released an album called Sandinista!. It had around 40 songs on it, spread over 3 LPs. Yet the band insisted it be released as a double album, to save the consumer some cash. Naturally, the record company went ape-shit, as this was against tried and true ways of doing business and would no doubt screw up the accounting of profits. Needless to say, it was a financial disaster, even though the band took a reduced royalty rate.
Seeing that the Chickenfoot album has a list price around 25 dollars, you can assume the price reflects the rarity of vinyl albums in general, as well as the fact that the record consists of two discs that are essentially EPs (Extended Play, like a large 45 RPM single) as opposed to LPs (Long Players, actual full length records).

Not a criticism, I know the majority here are from the US, but still, is the US only sales figure really that important? I would like to hear how the thing has done worldwide. If it has done that in the states alone, surely this is going to be a million seller.
I would love to see them tour Japan. I think Satch has a huge following there and rock is pretty popular in general.
I've been trying to find European sales figures since the recent dates they played, but alas, couldn't find anything within my attention span of seventeen seconds.
