What is the best song on Sammy Hagar's hit compilation "Unboxed". I don't care two much for the two new songs, but I like a bunch of the others. I'm gonna go with "I Don't Need Love", though, as I think it's got a great groove and is kind of the antithesis to some of the weepy sh*t he did while working with Edward. Album should also include "Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy", too!

Put me down for "Heavy Metal". The song is heavy, maybe the hardest Sammy's done. Originally it was on the "Heavy Metal" soundtrack. The 2 cuts are not identical, but close. The guitars on the soundtrack cut sound a little different, production is a little better. Unboxed is a damn good CD though.

Rock On

One Way To Rock, but it was a tough choice. I like Heavy Metal, Three Lock Box, and I Don't Need Love a lot, too. Of the two new songs I like High Hopes the most.

"Heavy Metal" was also on the "Standing Hampton" CD, that is a damn good CD also. Definately one of Sammy's best, i.e. "Only one way to Rock, Fall in Love Again, H.M., Surrender, Sweet Hitchhiker etc. etc." Anyone know what that phrase refers to? (Standing Hampton)

Call me "silly" but I have ALWAYS dug "High Hopes"!!

Great riff and groove...oh to have had this one done by Van Hagar would have been incredible! It should have been on F.U.C.K!

Although I'm a prime Dave fan, I can still enjoy certain Sammy songs. And I'd have to say GIVE TO LIVE.
