Over the past couple months of finding this
links site I've downloaded a healthy amount
of vh files of every form, basicly I've always
wanted stuff like this since hearing the
original VH album blasted at me through headphones when I was in 7th grade.Anyway the
quality of course leaves something to be desired like for instance the demos that are
at Wutz's site or whatever I don't recall.Is
there better versions for download elsewhere?
Some of them I really like,my favorite is Big
Trouble, that solo kicks ass.Anyway,if not a better source does
anyone have any better solutions for cleaning
these poor quality files up.I would pay good
money for good software.Right now what I do
is rerecord to wave through both Winamp and
my Aureal sq2500 s.c. equalizers while also
using a Winamp plugin called DFX.
It helps a little but it's a pain in the ass
and time consuming.Any help would be appreciated.

Most of the boots of the "Gene" demo are the same as far a quality. And if you ask me they sound great.

I'll send this to Boots and see if you get a better response! Good luck, and by all means, do whatever it takes to get a burn of the early studio stuff, you'll be very glad!

If your interested in certain songs. send an e-mail to mp3@vhvault.com. They will then try to post those mp3's on the site!

Thanks for the replies so far.Yes the demos
do sound better in quality than some,I'm also
talking about some of the Real and other wav
files that sound worse.I guess I might try to
find a boot of the demos.I'm still interested
in software that can fix up the bad sounding
files however(if it exists)and I know there's
probably only so much you can do but if anybody has ideas...

Anything in "Real" format, is going to be bad quality. Again, I have access to the demos and can upload some high quality mp3's!

I have been working on the songs myself and they've come up to pretty good quality. Which ones do you want?
At the moment i have-
Light "IN" The Sky,
Young and Wild,
Eyes of the night,
We Die Bold,
and Voodoo Queen. I can post them up on this forum if you want. Also if you post some of the files here, i can try to work on them, too.

It's still a valid question. From what Ed has said, he doesn't even have a copy....

No he hasn't been on in so long that it's before we had that date feature so it dates it to the default setting.
