...so the question is, will Dave give Sammy a handicap?

Come on. Sammy better be glad he's got a full head of hair, cause DLR is gonna mop the floor with him EVERY SINGLE SOLITARY NIGHT in terms of putting on a good show. Nothing against Sam, but Dave has way too much energy.

When I went to see DLR play with Bad Company (Bad Company = Sammy Hagar type rock), I couldn't even stick around for Bad Company's set (I don't think they're half bad) because it was like they were ruining my "Dave high". Dirty old uncle Dave has way too much freikin' stamina and energy for anyone his age to compete with him. Mark my words...when Sammy headlines, people will be leaving early. When Sammy opens, people will be hitting the beer stands during his set to drunken up for Diamond Dave.

And when I saw Dave play in Philly after Fuel 6 months ago (a young band with good energy), Dave even had more juice than those KIDS! If I were Sammy, I'd keep my mouth shut a little more than he has been lately. He's gonna get EMBARRASSED.

Sammy absolutely BLOWS Bad Company off the stage. I just saw BC last summer, and Styx blew them off the stage both with energy and performance. Saw Sammy in Jan 2001, and he has an enourmous amount of energy and it all goes into having fun. Dave better bring his A game, cause when Sammy kicks into Heavy Metal and Mas Tequila, the place WILL be rockin.

I haven't seen Dave, so I will not say he can't do it.

I saw Sam on the "Balance" Tour. The man can hold his own as a rock singer and all, but he's a mellower cat. That isn't a slam by any means, but it's a fact.. Would Dave ever be caught DEAD singing some sappy 13-year old boy love song like "Not Enough"?

Sammy's gonna have to do a heck of a lot of jumping jacks (refer to Live Without a Pulse Video...YES, HE DOES JUMPING JACKS IN THAT VIDEO, I KID NOT!) if he's gonna keeps up with Dave's Kung Fu and sword dance solos
